Rules for Driving with Learner License in US

United States has the youngest driving age in the world. The minimum age to receive a learner’s license varies by state, ranges from fourteen to sixteen. Usually, with a driver’s permit, the person may only drive with a person who is at least twenty.

Learners who are minors must have the permission from a parent or guardian, and usually must have had the learner's license for six months before being able to obtain a driver's license.
 
In many states, a written knowledge test is required. A learner’s license is obtained by showing proof of age and identity and proof of enrollment in a driver's education class. An adult learner need only have the driver's permit for a few weeks before being able to get a driver's license.
 
There are many teen education courses available at high schools and various private agencies throughout United States. After completing the driver’s education learning, you can apply for your learner’s license test. You must obtain this license from your state Department of Motor Vehicles. This requires you to pass a vision test and a test of basic driving knowledge. The DMV and MTO produces driver’s handbook containing all the applicable road rules and signs and usually provide a driving practice test or driver written test for you to practice.
 
Once you have passed the exams, you will receive either a permit or license that will allows finishing the practicable driving practice and then after you have completed that, you will be under the laws and stipulations enacted by your state and local governments. Having passed the learners license test and received your permit or license, you can now learns to drive while accompanied with a fully licensed driver subject to the restrictions and conditions stated and they vary greatly from state to state so you will need to clarify exactly what they are, and adhere to them.
 
During this time you should prevail on your parents, guardians and friends to accompany you while learning to drive in as many different driving conditions as possible, for example, night time, bright & sunny, raining, windy, dense traffic, highway and so on, as this will helps teach you how your vehicle reacts in differing weather and traffic conditions.
 
As a parent or a guide, it is crucial to teach your young driver to be a safe, careful driver and will make an easy way to pass learners license test.
